Movko is made for people who have, one way or another, ended up in Europe, or are about to, and want to start understanding the language. Not years of grammar, but the phrases and conversations for the things waiting for you tomorrow: the doctor, paperwork, renting, school.
Every course is written for its own country rather than translated from another language: its own offices, documents, polite forms and words. The situations are based on the real stories of people who have moved.
The phrases and the pronunciation guides were prepared by the Movko team. They have not yet been reviewed by a native speaker, and we say so openly. If you find a mistake, write to support@movko.app: we will fix it, and the new text reaches the app without an update.
The “how it's done” tips are generally known practical things, not legal advice. Always check rules and documents on the official websites of the offices.
The website is a reference: every category and situation with a title, a tip and the first phrase with audio. Fully open are the first dialogue of each course, all emergency situations (112), the rescue phrases and the “Basics” section. The whole course, audio, review and tap-a-word help are in the app.
